MVA are proud to support The Ruth Strauss Foundation which was set up by Sir Andrew Strauss after the death of his wife, Ruth, to a rare form of non-smokers lung cancer in December 2018. To date, their fantastic fundraising efforts such as the £1,204,447 raised when Lord’s Cricket Ground turned #RedForRuth during the second LV= Test between England and India in August 2021 have helped increase awareness and fund pioneering research into this still hugely misunderstood illness.

Having lost a loved one, who was extremely fit and healthy and had never smoked, to a rare form of lung cancer in February 2016 at the age of just 29, Jonathan has a personal affinity with the Foundation and each year we make a donation to support their endeavours.
